(E) Remote Control

DUO2 Remote Control(RCU) is a universal and QWERTY keyboard RCU and users can control DUO2 and TV. The double sided design of DUO2 RCU makes typing on TV easier than ever. Please refer to IV. System Configuration 2.9 Remote Control Unit Set-up section for more explanation.
  1. TV Power
    2. Once configured for TV remote control, this button is for TV power on/ off.
  2. Mute
    3. Silences the audio temporarily.

    NOTE : when Teletext is activated, mute.eps key is also used when toggling between the Teletext page and the live mode.

  3. STB Power
    4. When the STB is turned on, normal press of this button puts the STB into idle server mode instantly. When the STB is turned off, normal press of this button turns the STB on instantly. Long press activates Standby /Restart menu.
  4. Recording
    5. Displays instantly the recording menu. AV This button is used when selecting video source of TV.
  5. Recording List
    6. Displays the list of recordings stored on the internal HDD if any.
  6. TV
    7. Displays the TV channel list.
  7. RADIO
    8. Displays the list of recordings stored on the internal HDD if any.
  8. Subtitle
    9. Displays the subtitle of the current channel if the channel provides
  9. AV
    10. Used when selecting video source of TV.
  10. EPG
    11. Displays the Electronic Program Guide (EPG) information if provided.
  11. EXIT
    12. Exit the current menu option into the live mode, or switches one step back of the menu.

  14. Navigation Keys

  15. Play / Pause
    16. Plays the selected file (e.g. recording) at the normal speed. Pauses the live program or recording play.
  16. Fast Rewind
    17. Fast rewinds at up to 128 times faster than the normal speed
    (x2 / 4 / 8 / 16 / 32 / 64 / 128).
  17. Fast Forward
    18. Fast forwards at up to 128 times faster than the normal speed
    (x2 / 4 / 8 / 16 / 32 / 64 / 128).
  18. Stop
    19. Stops playing of a recording and goes to the live mode.
  19. Audio
    20. Displays the audio track option to choose (e.g. ACS, Stereo).
  20. Help
    21. Displays major important operation methods of Vu+. This provides users with a quick guide of using Vu+.
  21. Menu
    22. Displays the main menu.
  22. OK
    23. Confirms the selected menu option.
  23. Color Keys
    24. Red Green Yellow Blue
  24. Numeric Keys
    25. Enters a channel number or numbers required to be input according to menu options.
