I. Installation of Vu+

This chapter will guide you through the whole installation process of Vu+. Please read each section
carefully to make sure that the system runs properly.
  1. Connecting Signal Cable
  2. Vu+ UNO 4K SE is designed to integrate Pluggable Dual FBC(Full-Band Capture) DVB-S/S2 tuner or
    FBC DVB-C(Cable) Tuner which supports up to 8 demodulators. For the best use of Vu+ UNO 4K SE
    the following under combination are recommended.

    1. 1) Dual FBC DVB-S/S2 Tuner


    2. 2) FBC DVB-C Tuner (Cable)


  3. Connecting the TV
  4. Vu+ provides a variety of audio/video connection methods.

    1. 1) Connecting TV via HDMI cable
    2. For the sake of the best picture quality, especially for digital TV, HDMI connection is recommended.
      Most HDTVs have HDMI connectors to ensure the highest picture quality. In the rear panel of Vu+
      one HDMI connector is available for this purpose. Connect your TV to Vu+ using a HDMI cable as
      follows.




    3. 2) Connecting TV vis S/PDIF connection
    4. Vu+ provides S/PDIF connectors. When you have an A/V receiver with S/PDIF digital audio input,
      this connection is recommended to enjoy the best audio quality.






  5. Connecting Power
  6. A power cord is provided as one of the basic accessories of Vu+.
    1. - Connect the power cord to the connector at the rear panel of Vu+.
    2. - Connect the power cord to a power outlet.
    3. - Turn on the power switch at the rear panel.

    NOTE : DC input condition
    * 12V 5A

    NOTE : means Remote control operation order.



  7. Power ON/OFF
  8. [ : Press Power power.eps key / Press MENU key > Select Idle Server Mode/Reset]
    There are several ways to turn your Vu+ ON or OFF.
