Thanks.... I was just about to post that I have just found it.

I have just installed v11 VTI on my Ultimo 4K so I am brand new to this image. 1) Does this image only get updated by flashing or like OpenPLi are there regular updates via a feed? If there is a way for this, I cannot find it in the settings.

So is it only needed for VTI images or for any future image? dog-man

I have seen on another board a new boot loader for the VU DUO+. Could this be genuine? I don't want to install something that may brick my VU. dog-man

OK, I have had some success! I connected a scart lead and I got sound with 'my tubeplayer'. It was a bit hit and miss, I had to restart the box to get sound. This defeats the object though of having a HD box as the image quality via scart is not as good as via HDMI, so does this give any clues as to why I cannot get any sound via HDMI on 'mt tubeplayer' no matter what I do? Could a different HDMI lead cure it? If it's possible, I will purchase another one. dog-man

I am now getting sound in the 'Shoutcast' internet radio player. I don't know what happened to make it work, it just did. I did nothing. I still get no sound in 'my tubeplayer'. dog-man

I am using the Pli image on my Vu duo. I cannot get any sound when using the 'my tubeplayer' plugin and the 'shoutcast' plugin for internet radio. Has anyone any ideas? I do get sound when playing mp3's. I have only had this receiver a short time, so I must be doing something wrong. dog-man

I do updates every few days. I assume that would include any updates for the Pli image. I will try some mp3's when the wife has finished with the television. dog-man

Not tried playing any mp3's but I just tried playing an internet radio station using the 'shoutcast' plugin. I get no sound from that either! I am guessing I have not installed something that I need to give me sound on plugins. Sound on radio & tv is fine. dog-man

Never had sound in youtube player. Only had the box less than a week, so I expect it is something I have done or should do. dog-man

When I access youtube with my vu duo+, I get video but no sound. Is there something I should do to get sound? I am using the Pli image. dog-man
