Zitat von Knifte: „Looks like your Vu's IP address does not have the right nfs permissions to access the server.“ 192.168.1.66:/fake is a fake export, so the error is right. The real export now is 192.168.1.66:/home, which hangs the mount

Zitat von hgdo: „Yes, no problem.“ So, the problem is only mine... strange to me... Quellcode (5 Zeilen) Amen. I'll see it later.

  • Zitat von GaborDenes: „You will need to foward to port 80/443 (Openwebinterface/https) and port 8001 (Streaming)or 8002 (Transcoding).“ Yes, sorry, ports are 80/443(ssl) and 8001/8002, my mistake. And YES, VPN is the only secure METHOD!!! All tcp external ports are at risk, always, webservers first of all!!! Since VU+ manages OpenVPN, this is the only secure method...

  • Zitat von harrp: „do i have to make a access to Openwebif then watch the channel from another external ip or i need to setup vpn or something else“ Method #1 Make openwebif and streamer public (need much much upload bandwidth) Forward port 80 and 8080 from router to stb ip; give openwebif https and user/pwd access; make a robust root pwd of busybox; connect with VLC or other stb software (vuplayer, androiddreamer etc..) to you external public ip; in case make a dyndns alias for hostname connect …

Hey guys. Someone was able to mount a nfs from VU+Zero?

  • Good! The problem is not the cifs kernel module, so. Better so

  • Ok, you are using cif kernel modules, buggy in vu+ solo and zero and i think also other stbs. Try this: 1) reboot all devices (vu+ and router) 2) see if cif is mounted in VTi mountmanager (i need to mount it manually after a clean reboot or restart gui to make it visible) 3) NOW, disconnect vu+ or router from network for 10 seconds, and reconnect 4) TRY to enter Mediaplayer or EMC or do by telnet a "ls /media/net" to see if Enigma2 HANGS!!! In my case, at point 4, Enigma2 totally hangs. If this …

  • ps. VU+ does not care much about share modules of their Kernel. See also No Nfs Mount!!! ; cif problem exists from my first VU+SOLO.

  • Is your network resource a CIF? Is the cif hosted by a Windows 7 share management? If so, the problem is VU+ kernel cif module, with Windows 7 there are problems when cif is disconnected (Win7 goes standby, loose network connection etc..). When cif is disconnected, VU+ can't reconnect and Enigma2 hangs (gui spinner loops and also telnet hangs, try ls /media/net and see shell hanging). There is a trick to try to recover the cif connection, this is done by a simple cron script that does a ls /medi…

Hi guys. Finally boarded to VTi 8.2.2 on my new Vu+ ZERO (great, as usual!!!!! ) Just one question, for Atile skin in all VTis.. is there a way to modify the MP layout? I mean, left box, with file explorer, is too short to show all filenames (with the default font), and right box, with playlist, is too big. Can i get half, or a different %, the sceen size for both boxes, to make me read better file explorer box? 33wp6k1.jpg Thanks.

  • Zitat von knuti1960: „Menu/VTI/Settings-System/Show message when update available=no ;-)“ Thank you very much. VTi has so many panels

  • Do you run VTi from Meoboot? I do so. I would like to eliminate VTi "update message", is there a way? Since i need to stay on clean V8 and update message is very boring.

  • Hi. For the update problem (if i update to new usb drivers i can't see anymore my A867 and RTL28xx USB-DVB-T usb device, also installing old modules), is there a way to take away the auto-message of update present? Thanks. ps. Quellcode (8 Zeilen)

  • I got back to clean V8 and Avermedia A867 is now visible and functional again.............. i prefer, for now, not install any update............!!! Quellcode (13 Zeilen) Quellcode (14 Zeilen)

  • Thanks a lot! I did it... but Avermedia A867 Blue is still not recognised anymore Maybe i reinstall clean V8 and i will not update...........
