I have just done this...(added the vu+ to my network) I can see the various recordings, and the vlc logo,s they do play, via vlc, but its stop go I notice there are several files that are part of the various films and assume that the stop go, is where the various segments start stop so although related to the thread, my question is, how do i convert the files to a watchable format on my comp?? eric

just an update my smartgo readers/hub is now fully working Thankyou now all I need is a few fully working cards eric

been a while since I have been here, (holidays/work) I was wondering if its possible to use a usb hub with a few cards in the smartgo readers one card is a n%s fta card current image is the dreamelite and the usb kernal module manager is set to yes on the various usb modules the hub is externally powered and when connected to the front usb socket, all 7 reader lights are on (only 2 readers) SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/0 smartreader+ SERIAL READER : /dev/usb/1 smartreader+ the set does work on my db…

thanks Rob but at the moment, I have the DreamElite (latest) running in the flash and still trying to find my way around the image, meo does not allow backing up of the flash eric

thanks for your reply cytrax I did have Dream Elite, but had a few issues with it I have set up multy boot, via meo, and I did reload Dream Elite as a multy boot image but it would,nt boot up HDFreaks seems to work ok as a multyboot image Think I need a second VU+ unit eric

What I was looking for, is a epg plugin that allows a 7 day+ listing, prefribly via download, rather than updating via say hip hop on 28 east and if such a plugin exist, which is the best image to get such a plugin eric

sd pictures as far as I can see, are as good/bad on either the 800/vu+/500 hd piccys, again are on a parr with the 800 but, the kathy units piccy quailty is best on both HD and sd but a difficult unit to get on with also when comparring picture quality, it needs to be done viewing the some channels as diferent providers offer differing piccy quality but these are only my opinions, rather than expert eric I have also edited my post... thanks for the explination
