    I am trying to resurrect my Solo2 which is running a VTI image 14.0.6. I need to update the settings files but it seems that the use of the null password was stopped some time ago. I assumed that the logon is still root. but confused if the password is vuplus dream or dreambox Help

    if when using the latest vti image 15. you set up a new root password it is not being stored in the same file that every setting editor uses to check for a root login. please advise

    My new Solo2 with latest VTI image is loaded as is a good set of settings but now completely stuck. I put an expired HD02 (black) card in the top non CI slot. and have tried CCcam which can see the card but not its valid dates CAID 1843. I have tried OSCAM but that just leaves me lost as it asks for the RSA and box key. I googled this with HD02 and was give two strings of hexadecimals. Maybe I am missing the point but I always thought that the boxkey was your own boxes serial converted to HEX. C…
