  • Hello, I have made one step forward! I searched the web for similar problems that I have with enigma2. I finally solved the problem #2: (2 - When I reboot SoloSE the pause direct deos not work, because the hard disk is not mounted, and I need to enter the disk configuration to mount it manually.) Following the advice of "http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=5129" I reboot SoloSE and did not mount HDD with device manager From my PC, with DCC.exe, I edited the file /etc/fstab file Here it …

  • Hello, I finally created the good mount for my USB disk. (always connected to SoloSE) it is mounted as /media/hdd The folder /media/hdd/movie was created From my PC, I FTP to my SoloSE with DCC.exe and I have created all the required folders ( /media/hdd/timeshift and other subfolders) In the SoloSE, I have then defined the recording pathes for the movies, info and timeshift. Everything works fine, but two problems remain: 1 - When leaving from sleep, the timeshift does not start automatically, …

  • Thanks Plnick My NAS is a very old one, a DS101J. I got it before 2008, and it is very slow. I got problems when the NAS is erasing old timeshift files during a recording, or during timeshift. For what concern the HDD, I have made three installations and the only that worked for me was to leave VTI to mount it alone, and it was mounted as /autofs/sda1. Before having that /autofs/sda1 configuration, I have tried to mount it as /media/hdd. When I configured the recording path, I was able to see /m…

  • Hello, I am using my Solose (DVB-T dual tuner) with VTI 9.0.2 since few weeks.. Recording of programs and timeshift was made on my old Synology NAS. I had several recording problems because this NAS is not very fast. I decided to make all the recordings on a self powered Western Digital Elements 1TB USB disk, connected to SoloSE. It is mounted as : /autofs/sda1 The present configuration is : - Enable mount check of HDD : enabled - HDD sleep : no sleep - Mount known device automaticaly : activate…

Hello plnick, Thank you for your very fast answer I use VTI 9.0.2 May I ask more questions? Zitat von plnick: „1) : only time based - Menu>VTi>Timeshift setup“ Do you think my request be a possible evolution of VTI? Zitat von plnick: „2) : no it's not possible to group it (virtual) but you can add a new folder (MovieList>Menu>create directory), than you have a bookmark which can also be used for timers --> result: folder which contains all the recordings of theses timers“ OK I found the way to c…

Hi to all, Now my SoloSE is working fine with the DVB-T2 dual tuner, and timeshift and recordings are stored on an "old" Synology NAS (DS101J) I just begin to understand how it works and I have two points for which I need some advices: 1 - Timeshift. Is it possible to set-up the timeshift such as the timeshif files are deleted each time SoloSE is put in standby-mode or each time it is waked-up? if yes, how to configure? 2 - Recording of series I use a Monday-Friday recording of two series. In th…

Hi Clemens, Hi to all I was away from this thread for some days, but I worked a lot with Black-Hole, and finally, I came back to VTI, and I use last version of VTI (without plugins) on my SoloSE V2.. I succeeded in connecting to my Synology NAS. I can record channels and use timeshift I have some questions: 1- The timeshift works as a permanent timeshift except when starting from a sleeping state. Here, I have to depress the "play" key of the remote and then play again to start timeshift. Is it …

Thank you Clemens for your answer I have tried to solve my difficulties, without success, up to sunday noon I switched to Black Hole, and things are working better. But I am not attached with it, and I can switch back to VTI If I found the "solution for dummies" to allow me to progress I am not familiar with linux and the concept of plug-ins, and their "jargon" I found a lot of dependancies between the plugins and I did not found the ones that I have to add to obtain a 100% workable. For instanc…

Hello everyone! I made a step forward and I bought a Solose V2 with a dual DVB / T / T2 tuner. I updated the firmware 9.02 with VTI, and I installed the DVB-T channels. I have sorted the channels with DreanboxEDIT . How to configure VTI for the management of the two tuners or automatic? I feel that one is only active I have problems with the NAS network share configuration of the SoloSE I added the permanent Timeshift plugin. TimeShift works In the system configuration I can not put my NAS as a …

  • Hello, I have read a lot of forums that talk about Vu+ products. I found this one very valuable These forums are primilarery dedicated to satellite reception and signal processing. I have no experience in satellite, and I did not found a lot of info on DVB-T. ;-( Just to avoid to buy an useless equipment, my question is : Is the behavior of VTI image on a DVB-T/T2 solo SE V2, the same as a DVB-S solo SE V2 ? Many thanks in advance, Best Regards

Hello, This is my first post on this forum. I'm French and I need to replace my Siemens Gigaset M740AV DVB-T adaptor, that is SD only. It will stop to work in April, when the DVB-T broadcast in France will be HD (H264) only.0_angry.png It seems to me that VU+ SOLO SE V2 is the closest adaptor to my M740AV. I want to do the same things as with M740AV, but in H264. My concern is the capability of NAS storage. - Storage of stream on a Synology NAS - Possibility of Time Shift, while recording - Poss…
