I have loaded older image with Feb 2011 drivers mbox-dvb-modules-bm750-2.6.18-7.3-4.4.3-20110208 , and similar crash is happening. Quellcode (115 Zeilen) Only time the kernel does not crash is with the older 2010 driver. Is this hardware issue ? Gpio errors don't sound good to me. These are usually located on the board. Hi all, I might have similar problem, I am using my vu-duo for developing mipsel tools, and have not been updated the box image for a while, until last week, when decided to go with latest kernel and image provided by building 2.1 makefile. Everything goes smoothly the image is being generated - also used an front usb to update the flash. Showing epg data while in movie player mode requires a better understanding of enigma2 frontend. I don't think currently is possible as is. Maybe a special plugin can get done to read epg.dat file and display it, but it will not allow you to zap during this time. It will affect video also , since epg.dat reading is quite demanding. Also if the epg is not permanent in the box, I don't think you can achieve this.

The additions which were made are referring to BCM73xx chipset and that is available on the vu+ GIT, which has not been committed back to main tree. We all know competition is good but also creativity should follow - without it we cannot advance - please work on the software also not only hardware.

Isn't everyone looking for dvb-t support ? If someone is telling you the chipset is capable and he wants DVB-S turbo will you buy another adapter just for that ? How about HD 3D or 1080p ? As far the hardware advances users need to understand software (naturally) cannot keep up. But this means also things which are included with the hardware will never get used with the software, which is really a shame since many options are cut off from your plate - even without knowing about. Hallo, Per aktuellen Erfahrungen, die ich für vu-Duo-Empfänger DVB-S2 usbtuner Entwicklung arbeitet nicht mit vTuner-Schnittstelle. Es wird anerkannt, aber der Scanvorgang nicht geschehen - unter Verwendung von Standard v4linux Fahrer. Meine Vermutung ist vu + Fahrer Team sind nicht erlaubt zusätzliche DVB-S2-Tuner mit. Great work Chuscha. usbtuner.c included in the thread is same code used by dream elite team before they released a more newer version. I have found this on dreamboard - and I applied some changes made by genpix to accomodate dm800 low bandwidth which should not affect vu+ functionality. I include bellow a more recent code posted by updatelee @ Pli team which is including also the mdev script needed to make this work with vt-dvb-core.ko using major 213. So, have a look...

beor - try find a better firmware file for your usb adapter. also using the v4linux source code I posted you can easily replace (overwrite) source code driver files with the one posted bellow to try compiling new drivers.
