Hi Maggy I have just installed your skin and am very impressed! What i have noticed with my picons is that they appear distorted in the preview pane as they look like they have been enlarged, is there a specific size of picon i should be using or can we adjust the skin to accommodate? Thanks

Is it possible to play Blu ray rips? Normally I use mkv via the media player but have come across Blu ray rips and was wondering if it is possible to play? Thanks

Resolved the issue guys, it turned out to be vu control centre. The program was copying the channel settings across ok but I was experiencing the issue reported. Using dreambox edit resolved the issue straight away, not sure why but it worked first time.

Today i installed vti 5.0 along with catseye channel settings. Now all channels on all sats are showing n/a and I get the error "service Unavaliable, check tuner config" I have tried a new sattelites.xml but it makes no difference. Any ideas guys as I have no tv and can't see where the problem is. My tuner is setup with the settings given to me by my installer: Config mode: Simple Mode: Positioner Longitude: 000.700 East Latitude: 051.500 North

It's the DTS soundtrack, when I tried the other soundtrack which is in Russian the audio was fine. Strange thing is that the audio file will play fine via pc. Could it be the audio codec used in the image?

That's what I thought as I have played files in the past without issue. Is there anything else I could check or download?

I'm having an issue with certain .mkv files via the media player. Sometimes I am getting audio pops when there is dialogue. I thought it may be to Do with the files but they playback perfect on my pc. It's not with all files, could it be that the mkv is quite large, 16gb and the box is struggling?? Picture is perfect, just sound Any ideas ?

Made some progress to tonight, still slightly confused tho! I restored the factory image along with default sat lists (13 & 28 E) and the motor settings I have always used. I was able to clear channels on both sats which to me would rule out any hardware issues. I then installed vti image along with the same default sat lists and I was able to clear channels on both sats, I Could not do this previously, only oem image would clear any channels. I have just installed vti 4.2 along with V6.03 OE 1.6 of coolmans pluging. However when i the plugins menu i get the below error and cannot use the plugin Extensions/CoolTVGuide (Bad magic number in /usr/lib/dvapp2/python/Plugins/Extensions/CoolTVGuide/__init__yo Any ideas why?

Update Guys: I did a factory reset which deletes all my channels settings etc and setup my tuner config as simple one sat. With this setup i am able to clear the configured sat however as soon as i switch back to positioner mode & enter my motor settings i get the same issue. This proves that all hardware is ok as i tested with hotbird & astra and they both work ok when configured in single sat mode. Any ideas where i go from here?

Tried another image guys but its exactly the same.. i am starting to think it could be something with the box, but it doesn't explain why the factory image works fine. Any info would be extremely appreciated as I'm eager to get this sorted

When you mention config are you referring to tuner config? I have this setup as: Config mode: simple Mode: positioner Longitude: 007.000 East Latitude: 051.500 North I know these settings are correct as they were setup by the satellite installer and i have also tried them on the original firmware which works without issue. Its probably something very simple but i just cant find it and i have now been without tv since sunday
