@yllix I didn't understand your earlier reply but I presume you were able to see the signal-data using webif. Does everything else work? Is it only the signal-meter which has problems? Are you using SAT, Cable or a DTT-tuner? I will try and see if I can simulate a similar scenario to reproduce your problem and fix it. Just to let you know that next update will include some news what regards networking. For instance, there will be support for Https (SSL), an additional set-up to resolve the problems some of you are having using VPN with Fritz. I don't know the time-frame yet for the update but hopefully soon.

@chinda Thank you for your feedback and suggestions. As to SSL, it is already in the "to-do-list". It is now also supported by OpenWebIf. It will be available either in next update or in the one after. As to the port, isn't the standard port 443 enough? Or is better to be able to set an alternative port? On the other hand, wouldn't it be better to use a VPN instead of SSL (Https)? Just curious to hear your opinions. What regards displaying incoming calls, SMS etc on the TV-screen, this should be…

@Benutzername Thank you for your suggestions. Parent control should be possible. I would just need to think about the best way of implementing it. The virtual keyboard is also something I have thought about. To be honest, I still need to examine the options available. There may be workarounds even if the WebIf does not offer complete support for it. We'll see it.

@SATuriert @mc2 Interesting subject by SATuriert with an interesting solution by mc2. I will see what can be done. @SATuriert -do you have a cable-receiver? If yes, can you see signal-data in normal OSD (Infobar) on the TV? Or is signal-data not relevant to cable-receivers?
