Is the German Sky the same encryption as the UK Sky?

I'm confused about the activation of the card. Some people claim that a card can only be activated by the provider, of the card, itself! Is this always the case?

Shoudn't I have image by now, on the screen? Telnet keeps on logging information from the system, but thusfar no images on the screen. What might be the causes? Kind regards.

I've made a clean start with the VTI image from here, and the same problem remains: no 'Softcam-CI' in 'Setup'. I did install CCcam via 'VTI Cam Center'. What does go wrong? Should 'Softcam-CI' be in the 'Setup', before or after the CCcam has been installed, and activated?

I've started from here, for HispaSat: dream-zone.dk/showthread.php?t=7720 I could not get the password, so kept settings, and went back to image from here (database). How to obtain the missing part? Many thanks. I do beg your pardon, I did miss the comment: 'Image password sat4fun'. My problem with the missing part still remains, I suppose, I'll just have start all over again, or might there be an alternative?
