      Hello all,
      A few days ago enigma2 crashed and now won’t start anymore. I can ssh into the box, but when I try to start enigma2 I get this error:

      Unfortunately I’m not at home right now, so everything I can try has to be done via ssh.
      I already restarted the box a few times, but didn’t help.
      I have a backup, but I don’t know how to restore it from CLI.

      This is the first crash reported, after that many others were reported: dvbapp2_crash_2023-12-27_13-55-58_1703681758.log

      Box is a Vu+ Duo 4K SE running 15.0.2; no recent changes were made.

      Any idea how I could solve this without formatting everything?

    • Why does the enigma2 process unforcibly do a "opkg update" or "opkg upgrade"???

      Seems that the metrixfhd feed is down.

      The only way I see to resolve this is to switch to another skin and remove the metrixfhd feed from /etc/opkg.

    • In /etc/enigma2/settings is a line defining what skin to use - on my box it is:

      config.skin.primary_skin=CerxFHD/skin.xml

      You'll have to stop Enigma2 (telinit 4), edit the file (use a Unix compatible editor!), and restart Enigma2 again (telinit 3).
