      HI, a friend has a vu and a sky 28.2E dish and is having a 19/13 E monoblock dish fixed this weekend.

      Hes got a A/B manual switch to switch between the two dish feeds.

      How can his VU box be set up for 19/13 and 28 please.

      I remember something about Disecq 1.2 for the monoblock and how to fool the box into accepting 28e as well please.

      Hello,
      I think you need disecq 1 command to switch the monoblock.
      Why not configuring it as disecq 4 positions switch with 28.2 in 3rd position (where the disecq command will be ignored when your manual switch is on that position)?

      as many of the regular monoblocks are with an integrated committed 2in1 switch which is most common
      the second cascade should be an uncommitted switch 2in1 (in this case)

      so switching would be available using the advanced diseqc settings
      normal single tuner
      28,2/28,5 single LNB output coax + single MONOblock 13/19 output coax
      toward
      uncommitted switch input A and input B
      and one cable toward receiver

      when we are using both tuners both positions should be twin LNB's
      28,2/28,5 twin LNB with 2 output coax + twin MONOblock 13/19 with 2 output coax
      and thus two 2in1 uncommitted switches required.
