      würdet ihr euch die Mühe machen und die DivXTestCDv2.0 auf der VU+
      abspielen lassen damit wir wissen elche Formate abgespielt werden können?

      die meisten Bezeichnungen sagen mir nicht mal was. Wird wohl dran liegen das ich nicht im Fraunhofer Institut arbeite :D


      naja..die meisten haben wohl divx oder xvid, dann kommst es noch an qpel einstellung usw. noch drauf an, das ist doch eine iso-datei wo die ganzen files dabei sind, sollte man doch mit e2 abspielen koennen oder? man muss also nur noch anhacken was geht und was nicht

    • Die ISO ist von einer Community die Geräte mit
      Mediaplayerfunktionen Testen die haben zu den Test's auch eine
      Datenbank die man sich anschauen kann. Auch einzelne Geräte
      kann man anhand der Datenbank vergleichen.

    • Ganz einfach
      Weil die meisten die Box als satreceiver benutzen und nicht in erster linie als multimediea box

      Und das ist auch gut


      Möger die Entwickung nicht so laufen wie bei den kathi enigma Machern.
      da steht nur noch Multimedia im Vordergrund und Stabilität oder funzender videotext sind nebensächliche Kriterien geworden.

      Zum Glück sind bei Coolstream und bei VU+DUO die Prioritäten in der richtigen Reihenfolge gesetzt.

      Das hat aber nichts damit zu tun, dass jemand nach einem Feature frägt und nach Tests bittet, und diese dann von den Besitzern der Box nicht durchgeführt und deren Ergebnisse nicht gepostet werden.

      Man sollte festhalten, was die Box (schon) kann und was nicht, und zwar ganz offen und ehrlich! Der potentielle Käufer soll sich dann selbst ein Bild machen und seine Schlüsse daraus ziehen, was für ihn wichtig ist.

      Ich bin auch ein Fan von Multimediaeigenschaften. Ich bin aber im Gegenzug ebenso davon überzeugt, dass KEIN Sat-Receiver mit einem Player wie Popcorn Hour oder Ähnliches mithalten kann und jemals wird!

      Wir sind alle bereit in allen Richtungen Kompromisse einzugehen. Deshalb kann auch ein SAT-Receiver, der nur 2-3 Codecs abspielen, dafür aber vieles andere kann, sehr von Interesse sein (wenn es denn die gewünschten Codecs sind :) ).

      Träume ruhig weiter :D

      Ich habe die CD (aber keine Vu+ DUO).
      Auf die AZBox HD habe ich getestet und das dauert so doch einige Stunden
      und danach soll man noch ein Ja oder Nein notieren auf dieser Liste mit 150 Files.
