      Hallo zusammen,

      ich bin vor einem Monat von der Duo zur Solo2 gewechselt und habe ca. 1x täglich einen Absturz wie schon von einigen anderen User berichtet wurde. Dabei friert zuerst das Bild ein und nach einigen Sekunden ist auch der Ton weg (VTI-Spinner wird nicht angezeigt). Meistens startet die Box nach ca. 5 Minuten neu, nachdem ich den vorderen Power-Knopf mehrmals betätige. Crashlog gibt es leider keinen - bis auf heute Nachmittag, wo die Box beim Zappen einen Grünen generiert hat.

      Vielleicht handelt es sich hier um ein anderes Problem, ich bin für jeden Hinweis sehr dankbar.

      Was vielleicht noch interessant sein könnte: ich habe Unicable (Spaun SUS 21 F SAT-UNiSEqC mit eigener Stromversorgung) wobei der Antennenkabel an Tuner B hängt (werde mir demnächst einen Splitter kaufen, da die Kanalsuche oft bestimmte Frequenzen von Astra nicht findet. Nach mehreren Suchläufen werden die Sender gefunden (bei der Duo hatte ich das Problem nicht).

    • SOLO2 friert ständig ein , Problem gelöst !

      zunächst habe ich (wie die meisten) an ein fehlerhaftes Image geglaubt.
      daraufhin habe ich so ziemlich alles ausprobiert was es gibt ; leider ohne Erfolg !
      dann habe ich die Dose geöffnet und mir die Finger fast verbrannt , als ich das Kühlblech berührt habe.
      eine Messung mit einem Digitalthermometer ergab eine Temperatur von 94 Grad Celsius.
      das ist natürlich viel zu hoch.
      also habe ich einen kleinen Kühlkörper mit Wärmeleitpaste provisoisch auf das Kühlblech moniert.
      die Teperatur war dann nach ca. 5 Minuten auf 62 Grad runter.
      nächter Versuch: ein noch größerer Kühlkörper (45 x45 x25 mm) ein wenig bearbeitet , dass er rein passt.
      Wärmeleitpaste aufgebracht , Kühlkörper mit Kabelbinder auf das Original-Kühlblech montiert.
      Temperatur ist jetzt bei 50 Grad , das Passt.
      seither ist die Solo2 nicht mehr eingefroren.
      das zu kleine Kühlblech ist eindeutig ein Kontruktionsfehler.
      ebneso ist Positionierung des Gerätelüfters sehr ungücklich gewählt.
      die Solo2 hat einen Temperatursensor in der Nähe des Processors eingebaut.
      leider ist dieser Sensor praktisch ohne Funktion.
      er regelt den Lüfter nicht , und erfasst nur eine unwichtige Temperatur.
      ein echter Wärmekontakt zum Processor-Kühler wäre sinnvoll gewesen.
      vielleicht gibt es mal eine Solo3 ohne diese Mängel.

    • Ich habe seit fast 2 Monaten ein Ersatzgerät, bei dem bis heute keine Probleme aufgetreten sind.

      Ich bin inzwischen auch überzeugt, dass es sich um einen Hardware-Defekt gehandelt hat. Der Erklärungsansatz "schlecht ausgelegte Kühlung" überzeugt mich aber nicht so ganz. In diesem Fall würde ich davon ausgehen, dass (fast) alle Solo2/Duo2 davon betroffen wären. Ausserdem, würde die Box eher nach längerem Benutzen abstürzen und nicht, wie von vielen gemeldet, in zufälligen Zeitabständen (mal gleich nach dem Hochfahren, mal im Standby, mal nach einer Betriebszeit von mehreren Stunden...). Was die angezeigte Temperatur betrifft, sehe ich keine Unterschiede zwischen meiner alten und meiner neuen Solo2 (Temperatur bewegt sich immer im Bereich 36-40 °C).

      Ich tippe letztendlich eher auf RAM-Fehler, die zumindest das bei mir aufgetretene Problem besser erklären. Natürlich kann es sein, dass die eine oder andere Box Temperaturprobleme hat (z.B. von einem schlecht aufgebrachten Kühlkörper oder einer defekten CPU verursacht), aber ich glaube, dass in den meisten Boxen, die das Einfrieren-Problem haben, defekte RAM verbaut sind.

    • Ich habs mit einem Kalibrierten Kontaktthermometer aus unserem Kalibrierlabor getestet und das höchste was ich an Solo² und DUO² gemessen habe im geschloßenen Gehäuse waren knapp über 60° unter volllast.
      Die Solo² ist auch in fast einem Jahr noch nie bei mir abgestürzt oder stehen geblieben.
      Eine grundsätzliche Fehlkonstruktion kann es dann ja wohl nicht sein.

      Klingt jetzt vielleicht doof,aber hast Du eine Wetterinfo installiert? Das Problem haben nämlich auch schon einige deswegen gehabt und mir war das auch schon passiert. Ohne die Wetter Info keinen Absturz mehr gehabt!

      meine solo2 ist noch nie abgestürtzt. Sie steht jedoch frei auf einem Schrank, damit auch Luft drankommt.
