Freezing problem

My VU+ Duo freezes from time to time. The current channel still running, but the remote control is totally irresponsible. I need to switch off the receiver and than switching on again. That happened with any new images - VTI, DE, Pli.
Anyone with same issue or any suggestions?

Have yyou an internal HDD? Disconnect it for testing. Have you used any plugins?

Yes, I have HDD. I will disconnect it for test. The only plugin I'm using is autoresolution.

You can disable it (just for testing).

Is it possible to disable it from software? Without open the cover?
SNR is 87%
I don't have such problems with oldest images/drivers. It started with 4.x. original images or at least I think so.

Disabling Autores can be done via Plugin menu.

I'm sorry. No you have to disconnect power and Data cable, bos has to be openen for this.

Maybe another idea. Is there a computer or something else accessing th vu? For streaming or something else.

No, nothing like this. VU+ is connected by cable to the Linksys router, but I didn't use it for streaming.

You also can disconnet lan cable for further testing.

For the last 40 hours I didn't experience this problem. The only thing I did, were to disable autoresolution plugin.

I seems like you found the yource for your trouble.

Now you can get closer to this issue. Is you box tuck direct after zapping?

Ok, with other words.

You told that your box freezes. Is it freezing drictly after zapping (from one channel to another)? Or takes it a whline on same channel until box is no longer repsonding.

It is happened more when I watch a channel and when I try to change it, I found out that the box is irresponsible.

Unfortunately, now it's happened again

So, it is not the plugin. I forgot to mention, that the display of the box goes black and only the red light in the left corner is lit.

That is like Box is powered off.

I woul give disconnecting the hdd a try. If it longer happens i would leave teh hdd disconnected an try original image V5.0 in flash. Still the same? then i would send it back for repair.

This happens to me also but only when using remote control of my air conditioner - Mitsubishi FD35.
Front panel goes blank and unit doesnt respond anymore.

Quite a big problem!
