no boot after VTI V2.0 flash

    • Hi,

      Same here in north america, after loading VTI or OpenPli latest image with latest drivers it stays on with

      loading defaults... and hourglass. In Openpli case (unstable) we can see only the wheels spinning.

      It sure not an image issue but a driver one.

    • If box uses DHCP then copy file via ftp to /tmp and install afterwwards with ipkg install.

      I think it is a combination of dvb-modules and enigma2. E2 hangs when loading. See bellow:

    • I'm wondering about a kernel panic if you flash the vti 2.0 an did no driver update.

      Maybe you can flash the Original V5.1 image via Lan / serial with VU+ flashtool and then flash VTI Image again.

      We should save the kernel from Original and overwrite the one in VTI..maybe then it can bring better results.

      However what is interesting last night OpenPli build is also stuck, and they use same Original sources as VTI.

      maybe not, just an idea, maybe worth testiing it


      We should save the kernel from Original and overwrite the one in VTI..maybe then it can bring some results.

      However what is interesting OpenPli has same results, and they use same Original sources as VTI.


      Maybe flashing serial + lan an original images fixes something so that VTI 2.0 may start. I don't now, just an idea, wich is tested really fast.

    • What was the last thing you flashed? Have you used mutliboot or somthing else?

    • And what exactly happens when you flash e.g. Original V4.9 with Flash Tool and Lan / serial (Nullmodem).
