      Hello all,

      I am trying to get my Vu+ Duo 2 to work with Ci+ module and swedish operator Comhem. I get picture but DVB subtitles is not working. Just before the module starts the decoding picture i have DVB subtitles but after a few seconds it dissapears.
      Is there a bug in Ci+ implementation?

    • Same here. Seems like CI+ can't decrypt subtitles. Maybe we can get a confirmation from an admin.

    • If the CI+ module is removed the text comes back so it is not encrypted. And now it becomes even stranger the DVB text works on one and only one channel with the module inserted and that is Cmore Series HD!
      It does not work on any other channel.

      Edit:
      Well it seems like Cmore series is not paired so that should explain why the DVB text work on that channel. The DVD text does not work for any paired channel.

    • I am not shure anyone is even looking in to this. I dont think the image makers even read this thread.
      Anyway most countries including Germany don't care about subtitles because the don't have them. They dub all languages into German anyway.

      I think it has to be a lot of people complaining about this before anything happens if it is even possible to solv.

      this is not a ci plus issue its limitation of e2 of using hardware decrypting

      e2 dvbapi this need a complete redesign of dvbbapi stack

      but first we must find a dvbapi specialist with time and e2 know ( this is the real issue :) )

    • Well it will not be solved anytime soon then i suppose. This is a real dealbreaker for the whole Enigma2 platform and a mystery why no one has done anything about it before.

      How come it works on Octagon which is i guess is based on Enigma2.

      Does subbtitles work on Dreambox 7080 on paired content with the ci+ plugin?

    • I would not recommend anyone to by a Enigma2 receiver if they need CI+ because it is useless until this subtitle, backgound recording and teletext issue is solved.

      This crapy receiver could not even record in the background while viewing any channel. Totaly useless for those who need HD and pairing.
